1734 Estate Coffee is one of only two Jamaica High Mountain Coffee producers on the island. Jamaica High Mountain Coffee is one of the rarest and finest coffees in the world, producing an exceptional cup when procurement, processing, and roasting are done to the highest standards. 1734 has formulated strong production methods to ensure the highest cup quality is realized across all processing methods.
Jamaica Blue Mountain is in the regions of St. Andrew, Portland, and St. Thomas. All coffee producing regions outside of these areas are considered High Mountain. Despite its illustrious past, the diminishing presence of High Mountain coffee plantations, shaped by a myriad of complex factors akin to a gripping tale, has made this coffee exceedingly rare. Presently, we're embarked on a mission with the JCGA(Jamaica Coffee Growers Association) and the Government of Jamaica to restore the prominence of this remarkable coffee and uplift its farmers, a journey made feasible by the steadfast support of our cherished customers.
