Our Story

1734 Estate Coffee is rooted in the storied hills of Mocho, Clarendon, on land that once formed part of the Whitney Estate—a vast and strategically positioned plantation owned by John Carvor, Esq., in the 1700s. During its prime, the Whitney Estate stretched across a significant portion of the western edge of the Mocho Mountains.

Today, 1734 Estate Coffee continues this legacy, producing exceptional coffee from the same fertile soils that made Jamaican coffee famous worldwide. Our meticulous cultivation and processing methods ensure each bean meets the highest standards of quality and flavor.
